PLTR: Massive Volume Breakout — Retest or Straight to ATH?Palantir Technologies Inc. Class ABATS:PLTRibraheeemzAfter a prolonged correction, PLTR has now produced a large weekly breakout candle accompanied by a significant volume expansion. That makes this breakout considerably more meaningful than a low-volume move. 🔥 What changed? The larger structure shows: • 📈 Strong prior bullish impulse • 🔄 ~70% retracement of that previous swing • 🟢 Long consolidation inside a falling wedge • 🚀 Explosive Falling-wedge breakout • 💥 Massive weekly volume expansion • 🎯 ATH at ~$209 now back in focus The ~70% retracement is also interesting because it gives us the potential AB = CD structure marked on the chart. 🤔 Retest or continuation? This is where things get interesting. 🟢 Scenario 1 — Retest first After such a strong breakout, I would not be surprised by a pullback. The highlighted $140–155 area is the zone I'd be watching. A healthy sequence would be: Breakout → pullback → retest → higher low → continuation If PLTR comes back into that zone and buyers defend it, the breakout becomes even more convincing. That would potentially offer the cleaner risk/reward entry rather than chasing a huge weekly candle. 🚀 Scenario 2 — No retest But here's the catch: Strong volume breakouts don't always give you the perfect retest. If buyers remain aggressive and price continues holding above the breakout structure, PLTR could simply continue toward the previous ATH around: 🎯 $208–209 In that case, waiting for a deep retest could mean watching the move happen without you. 🎯 Bigger picture The $209 ATH is the first major objective. And if PLTR breaks and sustains above that level, the larger AB = CD projection comes into play. The chart is pointing toward approximately: 🚀 $250 So I see the structure as: $140–155 → Retest Zone ⬇️ $209 → ATH / major resistance ⬆️ $250 → AB = CD projected target 📌 My preference I wouldn't try to predict whether the market must retest. Instead, I'd let price tell us. If it retests $140–155 and holds → bullish continuation setup. If it doesn't retest and continues higher → don't chase; wait for a smaller timeframe consolidation/retest. Either way, the important development has already happened: The long correction has broken out with serious volume. Now we find out whether PLTR retests the breakout before attacking ATH — or simply runs straight into it. 👀 🐂 The key levels 🟢 $140–155: Breakout / retest zone 🔴 $209: Previous ATH + major resistance 🚀 $250: AB = CD projected target For me, the setup is bullish above the breakout structure. The question is no longer whether the trend is improving — it's how the market chooses to continue. Not financial advice. Technical setup based on market structure, price action and probability.
