My mom didn't need them, but I did (my dad has a negative blood type, which my brother and I both inherited). Let me just say: I had an odd reaction to it. I can still tell you EXACTLY where I got it (in my thigh with my oldest and in my arm with middle)) because I get intense pains there sometimes. Brief, but takes my breath away. I have no scarring or anything to explain the pain. Anyway, I told my nurses after delivery they couldn't remove my line until they knew if I needed more rhogam. When I had my youngest, I told my doctor to send me to the infusion center because I didn't want another injection. Thankfully, all three of our kids were just fine!
