Marsa Mayor Luke Farrugia has shared footage appearing to show a child and an adult illegally dumping rubbish in Triq is-Serkin, one of the locality’s most frequently discussed problem areas.The video shows a truck pulling up next to a wall before a child exits the vehicle and throws a paper bag onto the ground.Moments later, an adult is seen getting out of the truck and unloading several garbage bags and other waste, leaving the rubbish behind in the summer heat before driving away.Sharing the footage on social media, the mayor said the Local Council now has the tools and resources to monitor the area through CCTV and take action against offenders.
