Basheer reviewed the progress of 602 projects being implemented across 50 departments in the district under the State government’s 100-day action plan at a meeting held here on Monday (August 17).The projects include 479 livelihood initiatives aimed at creating employment and income opportunities and 123 infrastructure projects. The agriculture and allied sectors account for 95 projects, while 65 are in industry and entrepreneurship, 82 in transport and public works, 23 in water resources and irrigation, and 20 under local self-government.The district has so far cleared 3,700 of the 4,600 land-use conversion applications targeted under the programme. Of the 2,057 land titles to be issued, 1,057 have been distributed.
