The 14 Year Cycle Bitcoin vs US Dollar, Spot CFDBITSTAMP:BTCUSDholeyprofitWhile BTC was in the 100K area I posted probably at least 10 - 20 times explaining with as many ways as I could think of the reasons a 4 yr cycle didnt make sense. The cycle thesis' have failed. Some people want to fight me about that but I really am past caring. They failed, or the conditions of the model is "It might go to 200K, but it might go to 60K and if 60K isnt the low then it might go lower". Fine. Useless model, but fine. I wont rehash all the reasons I think it makes more sense but I want to revisit an alt I proposed, which is that during its first major rally most assets go up for 10 - 15 years. Inside of this there can be the spurious appearance of cycles but they are just expressions of trend development. When the uptrend cycle has ended, they will all fail. People say "Its like gold" or "You're one of people who would have doubted tech stocks in the 90s. Look how those went. It happened in EURUSD. It happened in the breakout from the 1900s panics into the Roaring 20s and the Great Depression. This trend norm can be traced back 100 years and then observed time and time again with small variances in a wide range of asset since then. There are no instances of reliable 4 year cycles. Whether this comes to pass or not is yet to be seen, but its statically infinitely more likely.
