Djed Spence has joined Inter Milan from Tottenham Hotspur after agreeing a five-year contract with the Serie A champions.The 26-year-old England international moves to San Siro for a reported €30 million (£25.6m), bringing an end to his four-year spell with Spurs.Spence leaves after a breakthrough 2025-26 campaign in which he made 44 appearances for Tottenham across all competitions. He also established himself as a regular part of England’s squad, playing in all eight of the Three Lions’ matches at this summer’s World Cup.His departure comes as Tottenham reshape their options at full-back under Roberto De Zerbi. His most significant achievement came in the 2024-25 season, when he helped Spurs win the Europa League.Inter will be Spence’s second Italian club after his six-month loan spell at Genoa in 2024.
