It already speaks volumes that she’s such a short price amongst such a big field of two-year-olds.This is the filly that won her first two starts including the Royal Ascot Albany Stakes beating the likes of Sun Goddess and Light Of Dawn. She was only beaten last time out by 3/4 of a length to Senorita Bonita in the Cambridge Stakes and she was far too keen at the start, a stark contrast to how she was at Ascot where she even dwelt at the start just a touch having to come from the back to overtake all 24 rivals. That Senorita Bonita form looks solid too, whereas Star Of State has only won when a clear odds-on favourite so it’s hard to tell just how good she is yet.Satellite Of LoveWell with the form lines you’d think Sun Goddess would be the clear option for this. She was beaten by Libertango at Royal Ascot but then went on to win twice, in a Group 2 and a the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh. That boosts Libertango’s form of course, but my eye is drawn to the potential of another win in this race for trainer Clive Cox who dominates this.Satellite Of Love is his runner this year at a respectable 11/2, making it a perfect each-way shot. The colt owned by Middleham Park has won both of his starts, and there’s no telling how good she is yet either based on his debut not showing much from those in behind. He beat Agrippa by a neck at Newbury last time out though, who himself went on to win at Glorious Goodwood.Rossa Ryan is called up to board in a clear sign of trying to gun for this race.He carries 2lb less than Sun Goddess, a filly, who carries a penalty for her previous wins – of course looks dangerous but the two-year-old 6f races are always unpredictable and you can’t always rely on the favourite.KalpanaLiked this mare’s chances early doors due to her prominence in recent races, even before the full declarations were made.Minnie Hauk, her main rival, has remained to be close in behind but she’s got a bit to find to beat this serial winner and consistent mare.Kalpana is rated 125 and there’s no telling just how far she’ll go this year after coming out and winning the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes Group 1 at Ascot last month. She scooped £1.13million in prize money for that race nearly half of her career earnings before that so now she has scooped a total of £1.87million in winnings. That was quite a statement to make after a great return in winning at Newbury in May before showing her potential further when placing just a short head behind Giavellotto. That win last time though to beat a horse like Calandagan by over 1 length it’s clear she’s going to take this up strongly.talkSPORT BET Boosted Favourites30 minutes before the start of every UK & IRE race, we are boosting either the favourite or 2nd fav to win!Get the latest price boosts here18+.
