There are also fundamental reasons to get into this stock, related to advances in Quantum over the past 3 months that have not largely been reflected in the stock prices of these stocks. The timing is also good, because Quantum pure plays in general, of which IONQ is one of the more established (of the pure plays, not en toto), has historically had good Autumns and Decembers, and bad Q1s in terms of price action. I fully expect a rally to start as soon as the August / September rotation begins, that we often see, where the Street sells the biggest winners for the year, to buy the "about to be winners" who are winners for the year already but not up as much as the others they're selling. This happened last Q4, and it also happened the Q4 before it I believe, so that's something to watch. Timing wise you want to be in quantum in general in Q4, but not in Q1, from my very small amount of experience in trading these stocks so far. 2/2 data points or something like that so far, lol, but for me personally, that's enough information for me to place a bet on it going 3/3 before other people figure out the pattern and front run me or change it or mess it up somehow.
