You may have noticed that Google Messages RCS isn't working on the Galaxy Z Fold 8. You'll be happy to know that you're not the only one. Several Galaxy Z Fold 8 owners have shared their frustrations with this online, highlighting that Google Messages RCS appears to be broken on Samsung's latest foldable phone. Doesn't seem to be an isolated issueMultiple complaints have been shared by Galaxy Z Fold 8 owners on Reddit. One user switched from the Galaxy Z Fold 6 which had RCS working perfectly fine to the Galaxy Z Fold 8, with RCS refusing to connect on the new device. It kept throwing up error code 3100. Several methods to fix the issue were tried by the user, including turning on airplane mode, deleting the cache and data from carrier services and carrier communications, but to no avail once airplane mode was turned off.A Google Help Community member recommended updating to the latest version of Google Messages, turning RCS off, clearing data for carrier services, restarting the phone, and enabling RCS again. This doesn't seem to fix the issue as well. It's unclear what's causing this issue or how widespread it is, but given that multiple users have made similar complaints, it's likely that this isn't an isolated issue. Fortunately, it seems to be a software bug and nothing too serious, so there may be an update soon that finally gets Google Messages RCS working again on the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
