Koei Tecmo and Gust shared an update on their previously released Atelier Karia survey on social media and noted an overwhelming response to a question asking if potential players wanted to see the lead character’s body shape change as she eats food and other items in the game. The feedback also showed people want to be able to lock her into standard or stuffed body types as well. Said survey is still online at the official site and can be filled out until August 23, 2026. The current results on the Atelier Karia body shape change feature stemmed from the 34,392 submissions between July 24, 2026 and August 4, 2026. 78.6% of people said they wanted that in the game, with English-speaking survey takers being more supportive of the concept. The current results showed 91% of them were in favor of it. Both people submitting responses in Japanese and Traditional Chinese were both in favor by around 70%. A follow-up response to that showed 62.2% would like to lock in to one of the body types, though 32.1% noted they preferred a more dynamic approach to how she would look after eating items in-game. The other part of the results infographic went over the top three DLC costume requests for Atelier Karia. The design people seemed to appreciate most is “dark girly,” as it got 14,762 votes. However, the more edgy and dark approach overall seemed popular, as “gothic lolita” took second place with 13,865 votes and “visual kei” third with 11,718.
