Labourer dies after being struck by car while placing safety cones on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road - The HinduPublished - August 21, 2026 08:38 pm IST - HYDERABADA 48-year-old labourer was killed after a car allegedly rammed into him while he was placing safety indication cones on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Exit 15 at Pedda Golconda on Friday morning.Nemaligari Naveen Raj, a resident of Nagaram village in Shamshabad mandal, was working as a labourer with Abitej Enterprises for the past two years. He had gone to the ORR around 9 a.m. for work.According to the complaint lodged by his wife Nemaligari Andalu, Naveen Raj was working on the ORR near Exit 15 on the Tukkuguda-Gachibowli carriageway around 9.20 a.m. when he was hit by a car from behind allegedly being driven at a high speed and in a negligent manner.He sustained severe injuries to his head and fractures to his left arm and leg and died at the spot, police said.
