Witness in rape case against Prajwal allegedly threatened, court orders probe - The HinduUpdated - August 21, 2026 08:00 pm IST - BengaluruPrajwal RevannaA witness in a rape case against former MP Prajwal Revanna has alleged that she was threatened by those supporting the accused, outside the court.The Special Court of Sessions for criminal cases against former, present MPs and MLAs, trying the case, has now asked the Special Investigation Team (SIT), led by Additional Director-General of Police B.K. Singh, to investigate the matter and submit a report to the court.The witness is a social worker, who helped the first-ever alleged victim to come forward and lodge a complaint against the former MP. The victim was a former househelp at the Revanna family’s Holenarsipur house.
