Samsung is expected to launch two new smartwatches, three new foldable phones, and the stable versions of One UI 9.0 and One UI 9 Watch later this month. Ahead of those launches, the company is preparing a major redesign of the Galaxy Wearable app, and screenshots of the updated app have leaked ahead of its official release. As you can see in the screenshots below, the app now features three tabs, Watch Faces, Home (Connected Devices), and Device Settings, in a compact floating tab bar at the bottom of the screen. The redesign matches the visual style of other Samsung apps introduced with One UI 8.5. Previously, the Watch Faces section was grouped with options such as Apps Screen, Tiles, and Quick Panel below the watch preview. It has now been moved to its own dedicated tab, while a new Notifications section has taken its place on the Home screen. Moreover, the full body of the connected Galaxy Watch, including its case, strap, and matching color, is now displayed in the center of the screen. This gives users a better idea of how a particular watch face will look on their smartwatch. Previously, the app only displayed the watch case at the top of the screen. The Find My Watch and Tips sections now appear as larger shortcuts in the Device Settings tab.Instead of manually choosing Tiles and widgets, users will be able to ask Galaxy AI to generate personalized Tiles based on their interests and frequently used features. Samsung also appears to be suggesting AI-generated Tiles for information such as sports scores, stock prices, news headlines, and other real-time updates. This feature could be based on Google’s AI-powered Create My Widget feature, which was showcased for Wear OS 7 during the recent Google I/O developer conference. It now displays an image of the connected smartwatch instead of just text, while the rest of the information remains unchanged. The Software update section has received a visual refresh as well, featuring a new background with a blurred circular gradient behind the One UI Watch banner, similar to the design used in One UI 8.5 on Galaxy phones and tablets.
