People aware of the matter told ETCFO that the accounting body urged a cautious, legislation backed approach to Virtual Digital Assets before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance while making it clear that it neither endorsed such assets nor expressed any view contrary to the Reserve Bank of India.
