I actually ended up working at NBS TV for 4 years.How would you describe your signature deejaying style?I am an open format DJ and versatile. I am capable of blending all types of genres.What genres do you most enjoy playing, and why?I love Reggae and Rnb, Dancehall.What’s been your most memorable gig or performance, and what made it special?Playing at B Club, Kampala. I also got a chance to work with several international artists on the same set, including the late Costa Titch (South Africa), Crayon (Nigeria), and many more.How do you prepare for a set, and what’s your process for selecting music?I listen to music 24/7, so I keep updating myself with the latest releases. I also give time to the oldies, which makes it easy to understand and set my preps for any upcoming event.What’s the current music scene like in Uganda, and what role do you see yourself playing in it?So far so good. It keeps growing, bringing new talents, and my role in pursuing and uplifting the Ugandan local music scene won’t stop.How did growing up in Uganda shape your sound?Growing up in Uganda shaped my love for local music. I also appreciate local culture a lot.What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your career so far?While still new in the game, it’s hard to get gigs and connections. Most talents suffer at that stage, and they are frustrated and forced out of deejaying, regardless of their passion and love for it.Who are some Ugandan artists or producers you’ve worked with?I was Ziza Bafana’s official DJ. I have also worked with Jose Chameleone. I have also teamed up with producers like T.O.N. and already have musical projects in the works.What are your future goals for your deejaying career?I aspire to grow my brand, build my legacy, and, most importantly, take the game to the next level while helping younger DJs build up, and I’m planning to launch a DJing School/Academy.Outside of deejaying, what are some of your passions or hobbies?I am a fan of football. That’s my second hobby. I enjoy watching it, and I play it too.How do you balance the demands of your career with your personal life?I always focus on growing and avoiding distractions.
