She has a misguided view of God’s provision. Even manna, bread from heaven, had to be picked up from the ground and apparently there was some preparation involved. And laziness is condemned throughout the Bible— if a man won’t work, he shouldn’t eat is a biblical principle. She seems to think God is a celestial vending machine, and only new will do.
