In the 90s, the rumour that Luigi was playable in Super Mario 64 was relentless. IGN, however, struggled to believe it was true. In an effort to dispel the myth once and for all, in 1996, we posted a bounty. The message was simple: Prove Luigi’s in the game and we will pay you $100.Countless tried, none succeeded. And after 24 years, people moved on. It's been 30 years since we posted our Mario 64 bounty, so it’s time to finish this. Let’s settle our debt once and for all.
