I kept needing a map that was a story, not a dump of pins. Dates, photos, a line or a zone, then one URL people open in the browser. Google My Maps is fine for a short list. I wanted a chronology. So I built DotMap. You add a marker type, drop points, draw lines/zones, attach dates and media. Share by link, embed with an iframe, or send it to a public catalog after review. CSV and JSON if you already have a spreadsheet or a ChatGPT dump. UI is Ukrainian / English. Stack: Next.js, Leaflet, Supabase. Also an Android app. Free plan is enough to try. What I’d actually like: does the homepage explain this in 5 seconds, or is it still “another map tool” would you use it for a trip / local guide / research dump, or is that still My Maps territory Happy to walk through how the studio works.
