Gold Analysis & Trading Strategy | October 1GoldOANDA:XAUUSDXAUTrendMasterHello, traders! 👋 Hope your trading is going well! 🚀 On the 4-hour chart, gold remains in an overall bearish structure. The rebound from the previous low of 4110.87 has not changed the broader downtrend, and price has now fallen back below the MA5, MA10, and MA20. The Bollinger Band midline around 4172 is acting as clear resistance. Key resistance is seen at 4160–4175, with further resistance at 4206 and 4232. On the downside, important support levels are located at 4134, 4110, and 4088. As long as price fails to regain and hold above 4175, the current rebound is more likely to remain a corrective move within the broader downtrend, so the preferred bias remains to sell into resistance. On the 1-hour chart, gold rebounded to around 4219 before quickly reversing lower. Price has once again fallen below the short-term moving averages, suggesting that sellers have regained control in the short term. Gold is currently trading near the lower Bollinger Band around 4146, while 4134 remains a key support level, so this is not an ideal area to chase shorts. If price fails to recover the 4160–4177 zone, the short-term structure remains weak. A break below 4134 could open the door for another test of 4110, with further downside potential toward 4088. Trading strategy: Prefer waiting for a rebound before entering short positions. The 4160–4175 area can be considered a potential short-entry zone if price shows signs of rejection, with targets at 4135, 4110, and 4088. If the 1-hour chart regains and holds above 4177–4180, followed by a successful pullback that holds as support, the bias can shift toward buying the dip, targeting 4206–4232. 👉 If you found this analysis helpful, please leave a like and share your thoughts in the comments! ❤️ Wishing you successful trading!
