Jasmine is one of the clearest examples. In Aladdin (1992), she wears a turquoise crop top and harem pants that leave her midriff exposed. Disney redesigned her theme park costume in 2016 with long sleeves, a higher neckline, and a full-length top.The changes can be much bigger than simple tailoring. Jasmine’s park redesign kept her pants but added a floor-length sheer overskirt, alongside a higher neckline, long sleeves, and a full-length top that covered her midriff. Moana performs movements inspired by traditional Pacific Islands dance, while Raya demonstrates martial arts-inspired choreography.Disney Adventure World previously introduced new outfits for the princesses at The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge.
