While I agree with almost all of your comments, how in the world is an office supposed to run off of someone paying 2% of their bill per month? It’s not just the dentist, the hygienist, assistants, and administrative staff all need to get paid. There isn’t some fairy that keeps them paid if the patient decides not to pay. I can’t afford dental insurance and I wouldn’t buy it if I could, I think it’s a scam. It’s essentially pre paying for routine care. It’s essentially only helpful if your employer provides it.
