HDFC Bank's ADRs rose 5.4% following the appointment of Anup Bagchi as MD and CEO, effective October 27, 2026. The RBI approved his appointment, succeeding Sashidhar Jagdishan, who will not seek a third term. Bagchi previously led ICICI Prudential Life Insurance.
