I built a free build calculator, blackbox analyzer and browser sim for tiny FPV drones, with flight times anchored to builds I actually weighed and timed

Wait 5 sec.

I fly 65–85mm FPV "whoops" (the tiny indoor drones). Most FPV calculators are built around 5-inch quads, and the math falls apart at whoop scale: tiny high-KV motors lose a lot of RPM under load, so naive pitch × RPM formulas overestimate speed badly. So I built https://quadmath.com. What's on it: - **Build calculator** – motor KV, prop, pack and dry weight in; flight time, thrust-to-weight and all-up weight out. If your inputs match one of my measured builds, it swaps the estimate for the measured number. Builds are shareable by link. - **Bench data** – builds weighed on a scale and flown to a full discharge with a stopwatch. Raw JSON is in the repo. Right now that's two calibrated 65mm builds and one provisional 75mm. - **Blackbox analyzer** – drop a Betaflight log, get noise spectra, step response, propwash and motor saturation, plus suggested CLI changes. The parser is compiled to WASM and runs in a Web Worker, so the log never leaves the browser. - **Browser flight sim** (Three.js) that flies your own Betaflight rates – paste your CLI and go. - A small Betaflight tune database and some short guides. Stack: vanilla HTML/CSS/JS, no framework, no build step, GitHub Pages behind Cloudflare. Python for tooling. A weekly job on a Raspberry Pi finds content gaps and drafts fixes with an LLM as pull requests. It's hard-blocked from inventing performance numbers or tunes, and I review every PR before merge. Free, no signup, no ads. The gear page has disclosed affiliate links. What I'd like feedback on: If you don't fly drones, is it clear within 10 seconds what the site does? The calculator has a lot of inputs. What would you cut or hide? Anything broken on your device? (The sim is desktop-only.)
