I actually know of a lady who has made successful business out of this. She has a store inside of a commercial space, put up shelving, has a clothing section, then kind of a warehouse vibe section with large items, has about 3 or 4 staff. Basically buys pallets from various companies, target, jc penny etc, a lot of it is out of season stuff and overstock. The clothing section was basically everything $5, I bought a bunch of premier protein shakes from her when she had 3 pallets of them lol. She lists stuff on FB marketplace and does a "live" sales for like 5 hours a few times a week. To her credit She is very active and works hard at it. I don't think she ever did any fundraising for it though, just kept expanding. There are hours in which you can come in browse and shop, a lot of stuff she / employee puts on the FB page too. To me, it would be a nightmare to own such a business lol, too much stock of randomness.
