AAP leaders Atishi and Sanjay Singh have appealed to people to join a proposed October 2 protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over the Election Commission’s functioning and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Delhi Police had not granted permission for the gathering and tightened security around the area. A parallel protest has also been announced in Mumbai.
