MetaQuotes has added Benzinga News to its information services, giving brokers a new feed they can distribute through MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. The content is also available directly through MetaTrader.com in multiple languages. Traders can test the service for one month at no charge. The companies did not disclose the subscription price after the trial or explain whether access inside MT4 and MT5 will depend on each broker activating the feed. Brokers Control Access inside MetaTrader Benzinga will provide real-time coverage of developments affecting US markets. Participating brokers can use dedicated news feeders to make the content available alongside the charts, quotes, positions and order-entry tools already provided through MT4 and MT5. The integration allows clients monitor market news in the same terminal they use for trading. For brokers, it provides a ready-made content source they can distribute across their customer base without building a separate news integration. MetaQuotes has not said whether brokers must activate the service individually or whether traders can subscribe through their terminals when their broker does not distribute it. The commercial terms for participating firms also remain undisclosed. MetaTrader already supports distributing market news and other information through broker terminals.Benzinga Adds Another Platform Distribution Channel The agreement follows MetaQuotes’ April launch of MetaTrader.com, a standalone portal combining financial news, market analysis, trading ideas, charts, an economic calendar and resources for algorithmic trading. Making Benzinga available through both the public website and broker-operated terminals gives MetaQuotes two ways to distribute the content. However, the companies have not said how access and pricing will differ between the two channels. Benzinga announced a separate partnership with TradingView two days earlier. That integration covers Analyst Insights, which summarises sell-side research, rating changes and price-target revisions within TradingView. The MetaQuotes agreement instead covers a broader US market news feed and gives Benzinga a distribution route through brokers using MT4 and MT5. Neither company disclosed how many brokers have activated the service or whether regional restrictions will apply. This article was written by Tanya Chepkova at www.financemagnates.com.
