Can’t be worse.”He added, “But you’ll find out what the price to pay is. There’ll be a price. It’s going to be mental institution or jail or something, but I guess they’re going to go through another trial. It’s too bad.”Reddington, later in the Tuesday hearing, declared that there was a lack of evidence in the prosecution’s case against Clancy.Per Reuters:Clancy did not dispute at trial that she killed her children. Her lawyer, Reddington, is now arguing that there is a lack of evidence underlying the prosecution’s case, which is that she did so knowing that she was acting wrongfully.“This entire case is based on speculation,” Reddington said.“Why would this woman, who the evidence shows clearly and unequivocally … was a nurse, a mother, a friend, did nothing wrong in her life, why would she kill those three children?” Reddington said. “The evidence shows clearly and unequivocally that she was in a state of psychosis.”WATCH: OH.
