Hey all, science doctoral student here and I've spent the last several months building FaithRank (iOS only, Android coming), a trivia app with a hook I haven't seen done elsewhere: you declare a faith (Protestant/Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Mormonism, Orthodox Christianity), answer trivia about religion/scripture/history, and your score contributes to your faith's team in weekly tournaments against the other seven. There is also a Teams option and leaderboard, global and local individual leaderboards, and a 'Send a Challenge' feature to test your friends if they can beat your score on the quiz you just took, and then its own 'Duels' leaderboard. It's free on the app store, no ads, no subscriptions, nothing hidden, I just wanted to see if I could build something people would actually open more than once. still very early (small number of real users so far), so this is genuinely me asking for feedback. would love thoughts on anything confusing or clunky in onboarding, bugs, UI stuff, potential controversy, bad publicity (but still publicity) I've already gotten some wild reactions on social media already (some people really do not like an app that turns faith into a leaderboard) so don't hold back!!
