BTC to 80K Before the Bounce? PCE, Hike Odds & Treasury BuybackBitcoin all time history indexINDEX:BTCUSDEntrenchedThe case for a flush to 80K first. The market has close to a 70% chance of a hike priced in, and a hot PCE print would confirm it. Price usually runs ahead of the news, so I'm watching for a move down into 80K before the number comes out. The flip side: if PCE comes in cooler than projected, those hike odds unwind quickly, and a market that is heavily positioned one way can snap back hard. Then there's the bond market. Through October, Treasury is running a buyback program with long-end operations of at least $4B each, on Oct 1, 8, 15 and 27 and Nov 4. That's steady support under long-dated bonds, and if yields calm down, risk assets like BTC have a better chance of finding a floor. The setup: 80K is the level I'm watching for the flush, a lower-than-expected PCE print is what would trigger the bounce, and the October buybacks are the support underneath. I let the charts talk. Everything else is noise.
