Two sea turtles are back where they belong after weeks of treatment and rehabilitation in Malta.Jackpot and Rebecca were released back into the Mediterranean yesterday after completing their recovery at the Xrobb l-Għaġin Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.Jackpot had been rescued by Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) officials after being found struggling to swim, while Rebecca was discovered with a foreign object protruding from her nostrils.Both turtles were subsequently given the treatment and care they needed, spending several weeks under observation as they recovered.
