Special camp for persons with disabilities in Coimbatore on October 1 - The HinduPublished - September 30, 2026 10:44 pm IST - CoimbatoreA special camp for persons with disabilities will be held at Venkata Lakshmi Marriage Hall in Chellandiamman Nagar, Singanallur, on October 1.The camp, organised by the district administration and the Department for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities in association with various government departments, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the East Zone of the Coimbatore Corporation.The camp will facilitate medical assessment for persons seeking Unique Disability ID (UDID) cards and issuance of disability certificates. Those requiring surgery will be identified based on medical assessment.
