The Supreme Court has dismissed the Trinamool Congress faction's plea to access four frozen bank accounts. The Calcutta High Court had previously declined to grant interim relief to the faction regarding the accounts. It allowed access to three other frozen accounts under the supervision of a court-appointed special officer. This bank-account dispute is part of a larger fight for control of the TMC.
