They probably have vacation time like most American earn after a year of working at their jobs. Next, it looks like they are fundraising to go, so they won’t be paying for it. People who oppose them going shouldn’t contribute to their fundraiser and mind their own business. It’s that simple. It’s obvious many people here are jealous of the opportunity because of it were them, I’m sure their song & dance would change. They’re mad because no one is offering them the opportunity. Their roommates aren’t offering a car or anything else they need. They offered a vacation. I hope the raise enough money to go. Americans are so effed up in our thinking that we advocate for billionaires like Elon Musk to be able to hoard money & not get properly taxed, but damn the poor wanting to enjoy life a bit. Just because you don’t know how to maximize credit card points doesn’t mean everyone doesn’t. There are tricks that clearly you’re unaware of. I tend to think their neighbors figured those tricks out like many folks who travel by ONLY using points. Anyway, just say you’re jealous and go.
