King, Shaw, Sentnor among USWNT U-23 camp call-ups

The U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team will join the senior team in October involvement next month. Savy King, Ally Sentnor, and Jaedyn Shaw headlined the 24 players called up by USWNT U-23 head coach Heather Dyche for an upcoming October 5-13 training camp at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Ga. The USWNT U-23’s will train alongside Emma Hayes’ The USWNT U-23’s will train alongside Emma Hayes’ senior team for the week but will not travel when the senior team travels to Washington, D.C. and Chester, Pa to face No. 1-ranked Spain in a pair of friendlies. Instead, the USWNT U-23’s will stay in Georgia and take on the Dominican Republic U-23’s on October 9 and 13 respectively. It marks King’s first international call-up at any level since recovering from a cardiac event that took place in May 2025. After undergoing open heart surgery, King began rehabilitation in Summer 2025 and returned to the field for Angel City FC for the first time in March 2026.Sentnor and Shaw are two of the faces that will be part of the U-23 camp after not receiving senior call-ups. Goalkeeper Angelina Anderson, defender Kate Del Fava, and forwards Jameese Joseph and Mia Fishel are players that have all either trained or played with the senior squad in the past. All 24 players will look to impress both Dyche and Hayes as the USWNT continues preparation for the CONCACAF W Championship this November.
