This is a print & play no-cut backplate mod and spacer for the New 3DS XL that allows for the use of a 5000mAh battery & Micro SD Card Extender which can be found on amazon, ebay, or aliexpress. This is the final revision for the 7GriP. This makes the New 3DS XL battery last 2-3 times longer and much more comfortable to hold along with adding easy access to the MicroSD Card. Average lifespan of 10-13hrs depending on brightness/wifi/overclock etc. 3D Print Files Makerworld Printables You will need: x1 5000mAh New Li-ion Extended Battery x1 Micro SD Card Extension Cable 10CM x2 M1.4x14mm 304 Stainless Screws Sold in packs of 50/100 but you only need 2 New Install Video! Print with a .4mm nozzle model standing bottom facing up, as there are supports built into the model. I used organic tree supports, a standard brim and printed very slow. 0% infill and 5 layer thick walls IMPORTANT. Thin walls and infill cause a lot of warping. 5 layer walls are more then strong enough even with 0% infill. I have printed this in PLA/PLAMatte/PLAPure/PETG/PCTG/PCTGCF/TPU72D if the settings are right, it will print with all these filaments. If you are having issues with layer alignment especially at higher layers, enable Zhop .4mm Spiral. I'm am still very new to 3D Printing and 3D modeling so by all means mess with the settings and see if you can get better results and please share!
