Footage sent to this newsroom shows the moment a man attacked three police officers as they attempted to restrain him following an argument in Valletta. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)The incident unfolded at around 12:30pm today in Triq San Mark, close to Triq San Patrizju, after an argument broke out between two Maltese men.Police officers intervened, but the situation escalated and both men were eventually arrested.Footage from the scene shows one of the men, with handcuffs hanging from one wrist, appearing to strike and shove the three officers as they attempt to bring the situation under control. He can also be heard using threatening language towards them.Both men involved in the original argument sustained injuries and were taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where they remain under arrest.Their medical conditions are not yet known.•
