Hey all. I've been building this on my own for about six weeks, and the second version went live today. Every tracker I tried ended up grading me: streaks, rings, a score out of 100. The first time I broke a streak I'd stop using the app, and lose the data I actually cared about. What I wanted was simpler: at the end of the month, how many coffees, how many cigarettes, how many km walked. So MakeDay is basically a calendar you fill in. You log something with a tap (25 trackers come ready, or you make your own) and look back at a day, a month or a year in real units. Things I tried to get right: - No account, no server of mine. Your records stay on your phone. If you turn on backup, it goes to your own iCloud. - There is analytics (Firebase, which screens get opened, never what you log) and it's one switch in Settings. I'd rather say that up front. - Logging, the full count of everything, reminders, Apple Health import, CSV export and the Home Screen widget are free. The subscription is for limits and goals, the deeper reports (patterns, comparisons, a written monthly review) and backup. iPhone only, iOS 18+. English, Turkish, Spanish, French, Korean, Portuguese and Russian. I'd really like honest feedback on one thing: when you open it for the first time, is it clear what to do? That's the part I'm least sure about. Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/d7KEfgx App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6803638480 submitted by /u/huseyiniriss [link] [comments]
