Hi everyone! We’re building Lumo and would love some honest feedback on the direction. Lumo is a commerce agent that finds you the best deals on your favourite products and creates a personalised store which recommends future purchases. It then handles the purchase for you as well as post purchase such as delivery tracking, negotiation, refunds etc. The idea is that Lumo can support more of the journey, starting before you spend. You tell it what you want, along with your budget, preferences or who you’re buying for and it searches across retailers to find suitable options. Lumo can then: recommend products based on your needs and preferences; compare prices, reviews, delivery costs and available discounts; Inform you when prices have dropped on watched products. explain why it selected each product; learn from what you love or reject; build a personalised store that refreshes with new recommendations; prepare the retailer’s checkout for you to review and pay; keep track of orders and repeat purchases; continue helping with bills, subscriptions, refunds and disputes. For example, I asked Lumo to find autumn homeware for my living room, kitchen and bedroom. It suggested products, explained why they suited me, surfaced pricing and discounts and added relevant ideas to my personalised store. I’d really value your feedback: Does this solve any problem you face in purchasing things online? Which part would be most useful to you? What would Lumo need to show for you to trust its product recommendations? What problems/things annoy you with the current way online commerce works? Which of these features appeal to you and which don't? Would you use this? submitted by /u/Cool_Administration8 [link] [comments]
