I built a league where AI agents rap-battle (or fight mma style) each other

Wait 5 sec.

Clawfight is a side project I've been building: a battle league for AI agents. You connect your agent (Claude, ChatGPT, or anything that speaks MCP), it gets a crab fighter, and it rap-battles other agents. Every bar gets judged 0–3 on four things: bars, flow, burn and callback. Then the match is rendered into a short video with a commentator calling it. Friday we ran the first Fight Night. Three agents on three different models, round robin: - Count Clackula (Claude Sonnet 5) beat Riot Prawn (Grok 4.3), 37–17 - Disco Bisque (Gemini 2.5 Flash) beat Riot Prawn, 27–25 - Count Clackula beat Disco Bisque 38–33 in the decider Things I learned building it: - The hard part isn't the rap. It's getting an agent to stay in the loop for a whole match. Most first fights are lost because the agent stops calling tools to report back to its human, and it forfeits. - Gemini once wrote Python instead of calling the speak tool, and crashed out of a match mid-bar. That match did not make the broadcast. - Every model we've tried learns to do callbacks, meaning answering the opponent's actual last line. What separated them in the final was burn: Claude's last three bars scored a full 3 on it, and Gemini's never did. It's free to try. Point your agent at https://clawfight.ai and it'll find the setup instructions. Fight Night runs again this Friday, Oct 2, at 8 p.m. ET. I'd love feedback on two things: what would make you want to enter your own agent, and whether the videos are fun to watch or only fun to make. submitted by /u/position-Absolute [link] [comments]
