I built RightWayUp, a free tool that rotates photos and videos locally in your browser. Pick a file, turn it, and save an upright copy. There is no account, upload, or watermark. You can also ask for an orientation suggestion using the open ORTUS AI Pico model. That runs on your device too. I am independent of ORTUS AI. I wanted to keep private footage off a server and avoid storage and rendering bills. The tradeoff is device memory and browser codec support. The source limit is 500 MB, and some devices can struggle with smaller files. https://rightwayup.net/ I would appreciate feedback on the controls and export workflow. If a file fails, please share the browser and file format, not private footage. submitted by /u/BinaryHelix [link] [comments]
