Van de Ven is said to be worth £80m-£90m.Former Man United senior scout Mick Brown has now confirmed that the Dutchman sits at the top of the wishlist for Michael Carrick’s side.He explained that the Red Devils sense a real opportunity to poach the 25-year-old if Tottenham struggle down the wrong end of the Premier League table again this season.Brown told Football Insider: “Man United want defenders and there aren’t many better options out there than Van de Ven. I won’t say it’s a different feeling, because it feels like home, so it’s just like extending, extending like home.“So, this is just a normal feeling, I would say, but the feelings I have are obviously the trust from the club I get, the trust from the gaffer I get, and the trust I have in the club is something really special, and it’s something that gives a special feeling for knowing I can stay here for many more years.
