First of all, a massive thank you to everyone! The response on my last character commission post was absolutely insane, and I honestly didn't expect to see so many crazy talented artists here. I truly appreciate all of your work, you guys are amazing! Now, I'm back with an even bigger project for my game. I am looking for an elite 2D illustrator/concept artist to create a breathtaking Steam capsule art combined with a rich, immersive environment background. I want a piece that tells a story, featuring a strong character focus set against a deeply detailed, atmospheric world that instantly grabs attention at thumbnail size and makes players want to click the store page. Project Scope & Requirements: Deliverables: High-resolution layered digital file (.PSD or equivalent) with separated characters and background layers, along with full commercial rights transfer for Steam, marketing, and promotional use. Format/Dimensions: Standard Steam capsule sizes (Hero capsule, Main capsule, and vertical grid formats). Budget: $400 - $800+ USD (Highly flexible depending on the complexity, scope, and your portfolio tier—open to discussing your standard rates for this level of work). Payment Method: Secure transaction via PayPal, Wise, or Stripe. Art Direction & Concept: Vibe/Genre: To keep the post clean and spoiler-free, the specific game lore, theme, and visual moodboards will be shared privately with the selected artist. What I'm looking for: Masterful composition, epic environmental storytelling, dramatic lighting, and a striking color palette that makes the game pop in a crowded Steam library. (Note: I am fully open to your creative input, layout suggestions, and artistic direction to make this key art absolute gold!) How to Apply: If your portfolio features high-end game key art, Steam capsules, or rich environment illustrations, please submit your application via Direct Message (DM) or comments with: Portfolio Link: Direct link to your most relevant work (ArtStation, Behance, or relevant gallery). Please do not link generic homepages. Turnaround Time & Rates: Your estimated completion time and whether your rates align with the project scope. Confirmation Word: Please include the keyword "FLEXIBLE" at the very beginning of your message to confirm you've read through the requirements. Thanks again, everyone, and I can't wait to see your incredible work! submitted by /u/Expensive_Bake1963 [link] [comments]
