I built and launched my first iOS app: a manual crypto portfolio tracker

Wait 5 sec.

I’m the developer of Private Crypto Tracker, an iOS app I built independently and recently launched on the App Store. I made it for people who want to keep an eye on a crypto portfolio without connecting an exchange account or wallet. Holdings are entered manually, and the app includes portfolio tracking, crypto and Bitcoin prices, portfolio history, and iOS widgets. The performance chart builds history over time and updates daily. On the first day, there is no earlier daily data to compare against; the history accumulates as the app updates. Building and shipping my first app has been a learning curve. Getting from a working app to an App Store release meant handling the launch details as well as the product itself. Now I’m trying to learn what’s useful to people who already track holdings this way, and what feels unnecessary. The app has a subscription: £0.99 for the first month, then £29.99/year. I’m the developer, so this is a self-promotion post. If you track holdings manually, I’d be interested in what you use today and what you wish it handled better.
