I built TuningMac, a Mac app for headphone controls, system-wide EQ and syncing multiple speakers

Wait 5 sec.

Hey everyone! I just launched TuningMac, my first macOS app. I started building it because I wanted more control over audio on my Mac, particularly for headphones and multiple speakers. A few things I wanted to solve: 🎧 Headphone controls without switching apps If you use headphones from Sony, Realme or other brands, you often have to open their companion apps to change listening modes like ANC and transparency. TuningMac brings supported headphone controls directly to your Mac, so you don't have to keep switching between apps. 🎚️ A system-wide equalizer Customize your audio across your Mac with an equalizer, along with individual volume controls for different apps. 🔊 Sync multiple speakers Want to host a party or create a multi-speaker audio setup? TuningMac lets you play audio through multiple outputs simultaneously, with audio syncing to help keep them in time. You can use speakers you already own instead of buying a dedicated multi-room system. I've been building this independently, and this is my first macOS app. There's still plenty I'd like to improve, so I'd genuinely appreciate feedback and suggestions. Pricing: $5 lifetime license for the first 100 users. Website: https://tuningmac.com submitted by /u/BowlPulp [link] [comments]
