I’m the cofounder of Moonlux, and this is not a polished launch announcement. Merit by Moonlux is extremely early, and I’m looking for a few lawyers willing to tell us where it breaks, what is confusing, and whether it actually helps. The premise: lawyers are increasingly being paid to train and evaluate AI, but getting from “I joined a project” to a finished, defensible first task can be surprisingly difficult. Merit is meant to help a lawyer organize the assignment, check the work locally before submission, catch preventable errors, and build a repeatable workflow. It does not do the legal judgment for you. For this first cohort, we’re looking for 5–8 currently licensed lawyers who already do legal AI-training work, or seriously want to. You’ll: - complete one supplied fictional family-law AI-training exercise - use the early Mac version of Merit - spend about 60 minutes total - give us blunt, structured feedback This is an unpaid early-access beta. In return for your time, you’ll receive three months of Merit free, with no card required, and your feedback will directly shape what we build next. Do not use any client, employer, confidential, privileged, or real-matter information. This is product research—not a job offer and not a promise of future work or earnings. If you fit the profile and want to help shape it, comment with your jurisdiction and whether you’ve done work through Mercor or another AI-training platform. Please don’t identify confidential projects or clients. We will only contact people who explicitly opt in here. submitted by /u/SiteNo442 [link] [comments]
