That means guests planning a 2027 vacation could find completely new dining options in several corners of Disney World.Some of these locations will serve quick meals between attractions, while others look like they could become destinations of their own.Here’s what Disney World guests can expect.Disney World Dining Is About to Get Much BiggerDisney isn’t simply adding six restaurants to its existing lineup. These locations are tied directly to some of the biggest projects currently under construction around the resort.Three major developments are responsible for the additions: Pueblo Esperanza at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the upcoming Lakeshore Lodge. (2001) to life. Lakeshore Lodge, meanwhile, will introduce another resort option to the Disney World property.And each project needs places for guests to eat.The Hacienda Is Coming to Disney’s Animal KingdomOne of the biggest new dining additions is headed to Pueblo Esperanza, the village that will anchor the Tropical Americas expansion at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.The Hacienda will operate as a quick-service restaurant, but don’t expect it to necessarily feel like a small stop for grabbing a snack.Disney has said The Hacienda will rank among the largest quick-service restaurants at Walt Disney World when it opens in 2027. The company hasn’t revealed the full menu or detailed theme yet, leaving some major questions about exactly what guests will find inside.Its location should make it an important part of a day at Animal Kingdom.Pueblo Esperanza will include Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto, and El Carrusel de los Animalitos. With multiple attractions drawing people into the area, a large-capacity restaurant makes plenty of sense.For now, we’ll have to wait to find out exactly what Disney plans to serve.Harryhausen’s Restaurant Brings Monsters, Inc. to the TableDisney’s Hollywood Studios will also receive two new restaurants as part of Monstropolis, and Harryhausen’s Restaurant may be one of the most interesting additions of the bunch.Fans of Monsters, Inc. (2001) should recognize the name immediately.Harryhausen’s appeared in the movie, and Disney is now turning that fictional restaurant into a real dining location inside the theme park.Credit: DisneyThe menu will take inspiration from Japanese cuisine, with Disney describing it as something unlike anything else currently offered at Walt Disney World.But food won’t be the only attraction.Disney also plans to install a huge Sushi Chef Audio-Animatronic inspired by the chef seen in the movie.That detail could help Harryhausen’s become much more than another place to stop for lunch or dinner. Disney’s best themed restaurants often work because dining becomes part of the entertainment, and this location appears designed with that idea in mind.There’s another important detail for 2027. The first phase of Monstropolis is expected to open during the year, but the land’s massive door-vault coaster isn’t expected to be completed when that initial phase debuts. The restaurants, however, are expected to be ready.Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza Replaces PizzeRizzoMonstropolis is also getting a much more casual option.Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza will take over the former PizzeRizzo location, giving Disney a chance to transform an existing restaurant rather than constructing an entirely new dining building.The restaurant gets its name from Archie, the six-legged scare pig associated with Fear Tech. Harryhausen’s can provide the more elaborate themed experience, while Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza should offer guests a faster option when they don’t want a lengthy meal.Lakeshore Lodge Will Bring Three More RestaurantsThe remaining three restaurants aren’t coming to a theme park.Instead, guests will find them at Lakeshore Lodge, the new resort being built on the former River Country water park site.Lakeshore Lodge is scheduled to open in 2027, and Disney has already announced three dining locations for the property.Credit: DisneyThe first is Moonglade.This table-service restaurant will focus on dishes made with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Floor-to-ceiling windows will also provide views of the surrounding natural environment.That makes Moonglade sound like the resort’s more traditional sit-down dining destination, particularly for guests who want a slower meal away from the theme parks.Bay Lake Provisions Offers an All-Day OptionGuests looking for something quicker will have Bay Lake Provisions.The marketplace-style quick-service restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making it a practical option throughout the day. Disney is also planning an open-kitchen atmosphere for the restaurant.There will be some extra Disney touches hidden within the space, too.Disney has teased that guests should watch for woodland creatures inspired by classic Disney properties while visiting the restaurant.That sounds like the kind of detail that could make the restaurant especially fun for families while keeping the overall design connected to the nature-focused atmosphere of Lakeshore Lodge.Paint Out Point Bar & Grill Completes the LineupThe sixth new restaurant will give Lakeshore Lodge guests somewhere to grab food and drinks near the pool.Paint Out Point Bar & Grill will sit beside Lakeshore Lagoon, the resort’s zero-entry pool and centerpiece of its Wetlands water recreation area.Disney plans to offer shareable food along with specialty beverages at the poolside location.While it may not have the same scale as Harryhausen’s or The Hacienda, a poolside restaurant can become an important part of a resort stay, particularly for families spending a day away from the parks.Together, Moonglade, Bay Lake Provisions, and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill should give Lakeshore Lodge options ranging from a sit-down dinner to a quick breakfast or relaxed poolside meal.2027 Is Becoming a Huge Year at Disney WorldThe biggest takeaway isn’t simply that Disney World is adding six restaurants. It’s where they’re going.The Hacienda will support a completely reimagined section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Harryhausen’s Restaurant and Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza will help establish the personality of Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
