DineshThe Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has taken up construction of an indoor stadium on the Navule cricket ground campus in Shivamogga. The foundation stone was laid at a ceremony on Tuesday evening.This is the first indoor stadium the KSCA is building outside Bengaluru. It will have four pitches and a gym for sportspersons, besides other amenities. The association is spending over ₹4.90 crore on the facility.KSCA president B.K. Venkatesh Prasad and other office-bearers attended the ceremony. Also present were Shivamogga MP B.Y. Raghavendra, MLAs D.S. Arun and S.N. Channabasappa, Deputy Commissioner Prabhulinga Kavalikatti, Superintendent of Police B.
