Joe Burrow's girlfriend shares cheating hot take, woman's sister hooked up with her date & regaining the spark

Wait 5 sec.

Welcome to the latest edition of True Romance. For whatever reason, this week we're being hit from all sorts of angles with tales of cheating.I don't know if that's the type of mood fall sets or what, but it's everywhere. I try my best to steer us back towards hope. I don't know that I'm successful.I take a deep dive into why it's time for a woman to forgive her sister for hooking up with a guy she went on a date with, and we bring the spark back before all is said and done this week.MAN IN TROUBLE FOR USING ROBOT VACUUM TO RECORD WIFE'S AFFAIR, FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS LEASE UP & HALL PASS WINSIs that enough? I can't say. I put it out there, hope for the best and let you decide. I don't look to the stars for answers.Unfortunately for Tom Brady, that's what Gisele Bundchen did, according to a new book about the legendary quarterback, reports Page Six. The stars allegedly told her they weren’t compatible. From one quarterback and model relationship to another. As far as we know, the stars haven't told Olivia Ponton that she and Joe Burrow aren't compatible. Although, she's had other relationships that didn’t work out.In fact, she revealed during a recent episode of her Booked, Blonde & Busy podcast that she had been cheated on in all of her past relationships. But she finally realized after the third time it happened that she wasn't the problem.Forget that common denominator nonsense. Ponton has it figured out."I think cheating is a sign of insecurity," she said. "If you feel the need to be in a happy, healthy relationship with somebody, and go to get outside validation that you are attractive, that is not a reflection of this perfectly great person that could be in your life. That is a reflection on them. That’s my hot take."She's the perfectly great person that you're now missing out on. Well, not the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback. He presumably isn't seeking outside validation that he's attractive. Good for him.INNOCENT WRESTLING WITH SISTER OF WIFE'S BEST FRIEND REVEALS CHEATING WITH A TWIST, MCDONALD'S WEDDING & SIGNSGo follow True Romance on Twitter and Facebook and keep sending your emails here: sean.joseph@outkick.com (anonymously if you prefer).I think you're just going to have to trust me on this one. Call me crazy, but I believe Brooke Hogan when she says her relationship with Hulk Hogan changed after she says he slept with her friend. She's a forgiving person, so that wasn’t the issue. She forgave her dad, but the relationship they had prior to him sleeping with one of her best friends was gone. How you ask? It's one of life's mysteries."A major turning point came after he slept with my friend Christiane [Plante]," Brooke told Us Magazine. "I forgive people very easily — sometimes probably too easily — and I forgave him, but something between us changed afterward. I don’t think he ever related to me in quite the same way again."The Hulkster was known to run wild on occasion. This relationship with her friend might have been one of those times. But all wasn’t lost.Hooking up with her friend, her parent's divorce, and everything that went along with it, didn’t mean she didn’t still care for Hulk."I can love my father profoundly and still tell the truth about where he hurt me," Brooke added. "I can acknowledge the wonderful things my family gave me while also acknowledging that eventually the dynamic became something I could no longer live inside. Both things can be true."Exactly. It's all about forgiveness. I think this is a lesson that a lot of us can learn from, including another of the stories we're going to get into.SIGN UP FOR THE DAILY OUTKICK NEWSLETTERFollow True Romance on Twitter and Facebook. How long is too long to hold a grudge with your sister just because she slept with a guy that you went on a date with? A week? A month? A year? How about six years? This wasn’t a guy that she was in a serious relationship with. This was a guy she really liked is all. Yet she still hasn't gotten over it."My sister and I lived together and I went on a date with a guy I really liked. I introduced them before he and I went out and I thought we had a great time. She wasn't home when I got back but we texted a little and I told her I had the best time, etc. She told me not to wait up for her so I didn't," she wrote on Reddit."The next morning I was making breakfast when I heard her coming in and I saw my date from the day before with her. He ran away once he saw me but she couldn't hide what they did. She was giggling and it was clear she had been with someone. I made breakfast and then hid in my room from her for the rest of the day and texted my brothers."She's off to a decent start. She sees her sister coming in after a night out and her date is there. She knows by the look on her sister's face that they slept together and instead of a confrontation right there, she stuffs her feelings deep inside and hides out in her room."When I was still avoiding her the next day she barged into my room and asked me what was wrong and why I was avoiding her and I broke down and told her she hurt me when she slept with my date. Her whole demeanor changed and it was like she had no idea that might have hurt my feelings," she continued."She apologized but I didn't want to hear it and I told her to leave me alone. She asked me what she could do and she promised she'd never sleep with him again and she'd tell him to take me out again but that made it worse. I stayed a few more days but moved in with my brother when I realized I couldn't keep living with her and I didn't forgive her just because she said she was sorry."Since then, she's been "civil" with her sister, but they’re not hanging out or doing anything together. Those days are gone.Things came to a head recently when one of their brothers told the sister's boyfriend, who she was in a serious relationship with, about the incident. The sister thinks it's time to get over it."She was upset with our brother but then she told me I needed to get over what she did because it was one stupid decision and she is too damn good of a sister to let one thing ruin us," she added."She also defended what she did because she doesn't think what she did was bad, which honestly was what I suspected all along."The reason she suspected it all along is because that's the truth. This wasn’t a guy she was planning to marry. It was one date, and sure the timing wasn't great, but better to find out what this guy is all about immediately. She should be thanking her sister, not dragging this out for this long. This one proves there's not a single way that couples who have put time in together keep the spark going or bring it back. You really have to find what works for you. I think that's the lesson here. There are things like losing weight and trying to stay healthy that work for some. Others point to communication. Hormones do the trick for couples too. And so does swinging and presenting divorce papers. As I said, find what works for you. Here's what some couples on Reddit found that worked for them.- CF in Kansas writes:Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun have me happily sighing at their beautiful love story. 🥰https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/sydney-sweeney-subtle-nod-boyfriend-scooter-braun-new-lingerie-campaignSeanJoI couldn’t agree more. Nothing says "beautiful love story" like the headline "Sydney Sweeney gives subtle nod to boyfriend Scooter Braun in new lingerie campaign" and the story behind it.If you can't express love through a new lingerie campaign, what can you express love through? Are these two headed for a walk down the aisle or what?-------------That's all I have for the first day of October.
