Apart from Dalli’s client, lawyer Luciano Busuttil reportedly confirmed that two other jurors he represents will also not be charged. The jurors were among several questioned by police on 17th September over public declarations allegedly made on social media before the trial which had not been disclosed during the jury selection process. Those investigated were subsequently released on police bail while investigations into their previous social media activity continued.Lovin Malta has independently confirmed the position concerning Dalli’s client, with the lawyer confirming directly that the investigation has been closed and that no charges will be filed.Fenech was acquitted following a 55-day trial, with the jury returning an 8-1 not-guilty verdict on both counts of conspiracy and association in the murder of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia. The Attorney General has since appealed the verdict and is seeking a retrial.•
