Anup Bagchi has been appointed as the next Managing Director and CEO of HDFC Bank. His appointment is approved by the Reserve Bank of India starting from October 27. Bagchi will succeed Sashidhar Jagdishan, who concludes his term on October 26. In addition, Bagchi has been appointed as an additional director at the bank effective from October 2. His terms of remuneration will also be subject to RBI approval.
